Is Aniimo out on mobile?

Yes. Aniimo launched on iOS and Android on September 23, 2026, one week after the PC and console version. Pre-download opened on September 22 at 00:00 (UTC+8), so anyone who installed early could start playing the moment the servers went live.

Launch rollout by region (UTC+8):

  • Asia-Pacific — September 23, 10:00
  • Europe — September 23, 02:00 (UTC+0)
  • Americas — September 22, 22:00 (UTC-4)

How to download Aniimo on your phone

iPhone and iPad

  1. Open the Aniimo App Store page.
  2. Confirm your device meets the requirements below — the App Store lists iOS 15.0 as the install floor.
  3. Tap Get. It is a free download, so there is no checkout.
  4. Keep the app open on Wi-Fi for the first launch so it can pull the resource files.

Android

  1. Open the Aniimo Google Play page.
  2. Tap Install.
  3. Make sure you have 18 GB free before you start — the store listing will not always warn you until the download fails.
  4. Launch the game and let it finish its first-run download.

Install from the official stores only. Builds from third-party sites, and leftover technical-test clients, are a common cause of a game that installs but will not launch.

Aniimo mobile requirements

These are the official requirements from Pawprint Studio, last updated September 14, 2026. The App Store lists iOS 15.0 as the technical install floor, while Pawprint recommends iOS 16 or newer for playing — if you are on iOS 15, the game may install but not run well.

"Your device does not meet the minimum requirements"

This is the most common error mobile players hit, and it does not always mean your phone is genuinely too weak. Pawprint's own wording is that devices below the minimum specs may be unable to launch or run the game properly. Work through these four causes in order:

  1. Vulkan 1.1 on Android. This is the single most common cause. Vulkan 1.1 is listed in the official minimum requirements, and some phones that are otherwise fast enough — several Dimensity 6080 devices with 8 GB of RAM among them — do not clear it. Check your device's Vulkan support before you blame the hardware.
  2. Not enough free space. Aniimo needs 18 GB free, and that is free space, not total storage. A phone with 64 GB that is already half full will fail here even though it meets every other line.
  3. A build from outside the official stores. Sideloaded packages and leftover technical-test clients install but often cannot authenticate. Delete them and reinstall from the App Store or Google Play.
  4. The device is genuinely below the minimum. If you are under 4 GB of RAM on iOS or 6 GB on Android, there is no workaround — the game is not targeting that tier.

Download stuck, or the game will not launch

  • Free up space first. The first-run resource download is large and will stall silently when the device runs out of room.
  • Stay on Wi-Fi for the first launch. The store download is not the whole game — the resource files come after it.
  • Close background apps. The initial load is memory-hungry, and phones near the RAM minimum will be killed by the OS if too much else is running.
  • Reinstall cleanly. Uninstall, restart the phone, then install again from the official store.

60 FPS, heat and larger screens

Aniimo supports 60 FPS on mobile, excluding some lower-end devices. Running at 60 FPS produces heat — Pawprint's official guidance is to lower the graphics quality or the rendering resolution if the device gets too warm.

Tablets and large phones are supported with a dedicated large-screen mode, which turns on automatically and raises the rendering resolution. If you are playing on an iPad or a large Android tablet, you do not need to change anything.

Controllers on Aniimo mobile

Supported on mobile:

  • PS5 controller over Bluetooth
  • Xbox controller over Bluetooth
  • EasySMX M20
  • GameSir G8+ (Apple MFi, telescopic)
  • GameSir X4 Aileron (Android only)

Not supported on mobile: Switch and Joy-Con controllers, Android telescopic controllers on iOS, and controller vibration.

Account and progress between mobile, PC and console

Progress is shared across platforms, but the rule has a condition worth reading carefully. In Pawprint's own wording: data is independent between different servers, and progress is shared across all platforms within the same server. So a character on a mobile account and a character on a separate PC server stay separate — it is the server that decides, not the device.

When you first sign in with a third-party account, the game prompts you to bind an email. Skipping that step can lose your progress and your launch rewards, so bind it. One email can be linked to several third-party accounts, but a single third-party account can only be bound to one email.

Aniimo mobile FAQ

Is Aniimo on mobile?

Yes. Aniimo launched on iOS and Android on September 23, 2026, one week after the PC and console release. It is free-to-play on both stores, and pre-download opened on September 22.

How much does Aniimo cost on mobile?

Nothing. Aniimo is free-to-play on iOS and Android. Both store listings are free to download, and the game includes optional in-app purchases.

How much storage does Aniimo need on a phone?

At least 18 GB of free space on both iOS and Android, plus a stable Wi-Fi connection for the initial download and the resource files that follow it.

What phone do I need to run Aniimo?

The official minimum is an iPhone 11 (A13) with iOS 16 and 4 GB of RAM on iOS, or a Snapdragon 855 / Dimensity 1000 device with Android 10, 6 GB of RAM and Vulkan 1.1 on Android. The App Store lists iOS 15.0 as the install floor, but Pawprint recommends iOS 16 or newer for playing.

Why does it say my device does not meet the minimum requirements?

That message appears when the game cannot verify the hardware it needs. The most common causes are a device without Vulkan 1.1 support on Android, less than 18 GB of free space, or a build installed from outside the official stores. Pawprint states that devices below the minimum specs may be unable to launch or run the game properly.

Does Aniimo run at 60 FPS on mobile?

Yes, on supported devices. Some lower-end phones are excluded. Running at 60 FPS generates heat, and the official guidance is to lower the graphics quality or the rendering resolution if the device gets too warm.

Can I use a controller on Aniimo mobile?

Yes. Bluetooth PS5 and Xbox controllers are supported, along with the EasySMX M20, the GameSir G8+ on iOS and the GameSir X4 Aileron on Android. Switch and Joy-Con controllers are not supported on mobile, and controller vibration is not supported either.

Does progress carry over between mobile and PC?

Within the same server, yes — progress is shared across every platform. Data does not carry between different servers, so a mobile character and a PC character on separate servers stay separate. Bind your email when prompted: skipping it can lose your progress and launch rewards.
